Our aim is to deliver a year-round programme of recreational and educational opportunities to all young people, to enable them to reach their full potential. Put simply, we believe in getting young people off the streets, into our clubs and doing something positive with their time.

Accessible Boxing Group

Starting in November and running throughout the Autumn and Winter months Keira's Kingdom Accessible Boxing Group has started running sessions at the Lads Club on Wednesdays.

The sessions are free to join with all equipment provided for the attendees. After session drinks are available at Vernon Cafe and the sessions run from 12:30 to 1:30pm.

Thanks to Lottery funding and their registered charity status, the club offers support for any individual who currently live with a mental, chronic or life-limiting illness.

More than just a Lads Club

Stockport Lads Club is a valuable resource for the community, and it has helped thousands of young people over the years. The club is open to everyone, regardless of their background or financial situation. We have a growing number of activities for every age. From early sensory groups - 0 to 13 months, out of school and holiday childcare to Karate and Boxing. We currently also have 9 football teams and our Academy for 5 to 7 year olds along with our original Members Night still 3 times a week. Photo Vault

We're scanning all the documents and photos from all the albums we have at the club. Part of what we have found is the original document from the start of the Lads Club dated 21st May 1889.
